From a Finance Manager for a Major Canadian Retail Supplier 2005...

I met my PSS consultant in September 2004, when I was looking for a new job after completing my MBA at The Richard Ivey School of Business. During that search I met with different headhunters from a number of recruiting companies. What I found extremely valuable from my consultant was that she took the time to understand not only the hard skills that I have, but what I believe differentiates me, very strong soft skills. My consultant clearly understood my set of skills and career goals and set an interview for me with one of her clients in Burlington. The culture of the company was a good fit for me and I joined them as a Controller. My consultant’s support through the whole process was very important she always gave me clear feedback and kept me informed on the stage of the process, throughout the process she always proved to be extremely professional and showed a very high level of integrity. A few months later I had the chance to hire a candidate from PSS to complete my Finance Team, as I feel confident she and her team understand my requirements. I have also sought advice from my consultant regarding career decisions, and look forward to continue working with her and PSS.
